Heat Check Is More Than a Collection

Femme Nature was created as a space where women can explore femininity, confidence, and style on their own terms. Heat Check takes that idea further, bringing together the attitude of streetwear with pieces that give you the freedom to make the collection your own.

Meet the Girls Bringing Heat Check to Life

The Heat Check story started long before the collection launched.

After our open casting call back in August that brought more than 50 women into the campaign, the community selected these queens to join Tara Gold to front the Lagos chapter of Heat Check.

They are making their own bold statements and serving every look with the energy it deserves. While the clothes are at the heart of the collection, the women wearing them are at the centre of the story.

Tara

Tara Gold leads the Lagos chapter of Heat Check, bringing the confidence and presence that made her the perfect fit for the campaign.

Oluchi & Ite.

People mistake them for twins all the time. Our guess? It has something to do with the fact that they are both stylish, bold, and effortlessly bring heat to everything they wear.

Sandela 

Standing at 5'8", Sandela brings a fun, magnetic, and undeniably hot personality to the pieces.

Jess

Jess is sleek, and she effortlessly brings the heat to her style. You can also see her dripping with quiet confidence.

Oyin.

She’s a queen indeed. One fun thing about her: she loves to party, and it shows in every frame she's in.

With a collection full of character, we needed a cast of women who could bring their own interpretation to every piece. And they did, not just in front of the camera, but out in Lagos.

The Campaign Goes Beyond the Lagos

The Lagos night out is only one part of the Heat Check experience.

The campaign continues with Hot or Not, our Lagos × New York styling game show where fashion stylists and community girls put their own spin on pieces from the collection.

Then comes the Heat Check Launch Party, a community experience where women can shop the collection, hang out, meet other girls, and enjoy the day together.

This launch is a whole experience because Femme Nature is not just about what you wear. It is also about the women you meet, the connections you make, and the community you become part of. And Lagos is only the beginning.

Heat Check will extend to London and Brazil, giving women in different cities the opportunity to bring life to Femme Nature through their own identities, cultures, rhythms, and personal styles.

The Femme Nature Story Continues

For us, Heat Check is more than a launch. It is another step in Femme Nature’s growth as a movement and as a medium for expressing your truest and most confident self, not just through the clothes, but through a community of talented, beautiful, and supportive women.

Through Femme Club, styling experiences, and community events, we are inviting women to participate in the world around the clothes.

We are transforming how women dress, how they express themselves, and how they see one another.

We have created room for women with different personalities, perspectives, energies, and body types. So, we know you will find your new favourite pieces and accessories that help you be yourself.

Of course, following this second collection, watch out, because there is still so much more to come from Femme Nature.
