Neo Music is led by an all-female crew of R&B and Soul lovers who birthed the idea of a platform for the UK R&B/Neo-Soul/Jazz scene, to have a home for their music that they could proudly call their own. Forming life at the beginning of COVID-19 Neo Music started on Instagram writing mini-reviews about music that was released and quickly caught the attention of artists in these genres.
With Neo Music beginning as a publication to showcase emerging artists and give credit to the artists in the R&B/Neo-soul/Jazz scene, Neo Music is quickly evolving to be a hub for these genres in the UK. Establishing itself as a publication of music and entertainment leading into the broadcasting of R&B/Neo-Soul and Jazz music, the small team of Neo Music is quickly cultivating a community for the evolving UK R&B/Neo-soul scene. The Neo Music Team has developed a brand; a brand which is now recognised as one of the platforms for rising talent to be seen and heard.
Focusing on the R&B/ Neo-soul/Alte community not only in the UK but globally, our next stop is Lagos. Neo Nights is targeted at the up and coming artists of these genres as we have seen an influx of them rising through the COVID 19 lockdown and through creating the platform, Neo Music.
Neo Music is bringing back Neo Night to Lagos again after an incredible show in June featuring newcomer Rukmani they are back taking over Sabor Lagos on the 21st September 2023 with an incredible lineup including: Tega Ethan, Judo & Esoterica. Neo Nights show is an intimate live show highlighting Afro R&B artists in the Lagos scene!
