Adenuga Adedumomi aka Dumomi The Jig, is a Nigerian-UK based artist, who is currently taking the music industry by storm with his phenomenal sound and artistry.
The singer who recently featured two-time Grammy award afrobeat artist Niniola in his viral single ‘Maria’, just released another thrilling single ‘Butterfly’ cementing his place as a burgeoning Afrobeat/Alte star.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital, the crooner who is also a graduate of architecture from the prestigious University of Lagos, hails from a musically inclined Yoruba family. Due to his musical background, Dumomi as a child was interested in playing the piano with his father which ignited his musical and creative interests.
As he grew older, he joined the music industry professionally in 2008, patiently honing his craft until finally taking the bold step to release chart-topping singles including ‘La Vida Loca’, ‘Anticipating’ and ‘Fantasy’.
Dumomi is a perfect example of talent and creativity. which is vividly evident in his latest single ‘Butterfly’.
