My Instagram feed is rarely where I get the full story. The reels come first - from DMs, in numbers I have been avoiding and then some of those reels send me to Twitter, where the threads explain what actually happened, who said what, and why everyone is still talking about it three days later. From one bottle to two bottles, from two bottles - you know how the rest goes. Here is what survived the scroll.
Wizkid Closed Afronation Portugal.

The three-day festival ran from July 3 to July 5 at Praia da Rocha Beach in Portimão, Portugal - Burna Boy opening on July 3, Asake headlining July 4, Wizkid closing the grand finale on July 5. One of his first major festival appearances in years, the performance landed with enough force that Spotify - official sponsor and exclusive streaming partner of Afronation 2026, posted selected performance content directly to its dedicated Afronation hub. Around the same time, Wizkid crossed 10 billion streams on the platform. The timing. The number. All in the same week.

The Album PSAM Just Teased Has No Songs on It

PSAM - Nigerian creative designer - released “Until Death, All Defeat Is Psychological,” the second chapter in his ongoing Album series. Where the first, Album of Tees Vol. 1, was built entirely around T-shirts designed in collaboration with independent creatives across Nigeria, this one expands into clogs, a skateboard, a leather bag carrying handwritten reflections from women, bi-wall art, scarves and graphic tees - eight tracks, each with credited collaborators, released with cover art, a tracklist and a full campaign rollout. The format treats every object as a song and every collaboration as a feature. The album’s central belief is stated plainly in its title: most defeats happen in the mind before they happen in reality. PSAM is making fashion objects out of that idea, and releasing them the way musicians release records.
