RnBling: Fave in Full Colour

Authored by

Fave has been one of Nigerian music’s most quietly consistent presences since “Baby Riddim” established her in 2021. RnBling, her third body of work released July 8, 2026, is six tracks of a singer fully settled into who she is - moving between vulnerability and confidence without losing the thread of either. The EP is produced across a tight circle of collaborators, with Dunnie and Deeyasso handling the bulk of the production, and features Chike and Yemi Alade as the two guest artists.

“Body Talk”, produced by Dunnie, opens the project on a warm, mid-tempo note - Fave establishing the EP’s emotional register immediately. “Miss You” follows, with Chike joining for a record built on longing - his signature emotive vocals sitting naturally against Fave’s soulful delivery, the two voices occupying the same emotional space with ease.

“Dance”, produced by Damie, is where the EP finds its clearest footing - rhythmic, easy, and impossible to sit still through. Of the six tracks, it is the one most likely to find its own life outside the EP. “Drown”, produced by German trio 255, takes the EP into its most vulnerable territory - Fave examining the consequences of falling too deeply into something, the production darker and more textured than what precedes it. It is the EP’s most emotionally direct moment

“Paparazzi” featuring Yemi Alade carries the kind of energy that recalls Yemi’s 2016 Maleek Berry-produced single ‘Want You’ - that same unbothered confidence, the awareness of being watched and the complete refusal to shrink from it. Yemi’s swagger and Fave’s warmth occupy the same space without competing, the collaboration feeling immediate rather than arranged.

“La La La” closes the project on its lightest note -  a feel-good record that sends the listener out exactly as the title promises.

RnBling is an enjoyable, cohesive project that moves through emotional range without losing control of its tone. The third track alone is worth the listen.
